Plantinga's Essay: When Faith and Reason Clash (Intro)

After reading through Alvin Plantinga's essay on Evolution and the Bible and listening to a recent lecture he gave on the subject, I thought I would analyze his argument, if only to help me understand what I hold to as a Christian and a philosopher. Since this is a substantial essay I am going to approach it in sections (not sure how many). I will also use some abbreviations, so be on the lookout.

Plantinga's entire essay can be accessed at:

A few cautions first…
1) I will try to “think” along with Plantinga’s essay as it progresses, so if he clears something up later then hopefully I’ll get it at that point.
2) I am a Reformed Christian philosopher
3) I try to be charitable, but I don't always play nice either
4) I might use sarcasm (maybe)
5) Numbers 3 and 4 are logical consequents of number 2.
