Where to Start

After reading some internet posts on epistemology in general I wanted to start my own exploration in the realm of knowledge and its justification. As Christian philosopher I am particularly interested in the types of questions we start off with when it comes to knowledge.

The big question of epistemology is- "How do we know?" The interesting thing is that when we attempt to answer that question in any way shape or form we have already answered another important question- "What do we know?"

Roderick Chisholm stated the importance of this situation in his formulation of "The Problem of the Criterion," which he laid out in his work Theory of Knowledge. Other philosophers and theologians have recognized this difficulty as well.

So, my opening question for this blog is this- Where does the Christian philosopher fall in all of this? Does he answer the question "How do we know?" first? Or perhaps he starts with the question "What do we know?" Is there a possible way to answer them both at the same time and in the same way? As of now I'm not sure.
